Type I Distribution

Type I patterns offer a narrow, oval-shaped distribution that is longitudinal, symmetrical, and bi-directional. Apply it for slim streets or sidewalks where luminaires need to be located in the middle of a given area.

Type II Distribution

Type II patterns form a rectangular pattern with a slight taper towards the front. It’s suitable for lighting long and narrow areas where luminaires need to be located at one side of the area.

Type III Distribution

Type III distributions create a forward-throwing light pattern with a more asymmetrical shape. This is commonly used for roadway lighting, general parking areas, and sports fields where luminaires need to be placed at the area edge. Compared to Type II, Type III provides deeper coverage, but the side-to-side throw is shorter.

Type IV Distribution

These patterns are often used in large open spaces such as plazas or parking lots where luminaires need to be mounted in the middle of the area. It provides uniform light over a broad space in all directions.
